THE BEGINNING

Where the story started

Villa Silvia began with a place and an idea of what it could become.

From the beginning, the house was considered together with its surroundings, the gardens, terraces and open spaces that would eventually form one connected whole.

Early sketches and plans gradually gave that idea its first shape.

THE MAKING

Built over time

Villa Silvia took shape gradually.

From foundations and structure to roofs, terraces and interiors, each stage brought new decisions, adjustments and refinements.

What exists today is the result of a process that unfolded over time rather than a single finished vision.

MATERIALS & CHARACTER

The details that shaped the house

Istrian stone, terracotta roof tiles, wood and warm natural tones became part of the character of Villa Silvia.

The architecture, materials and surrounding landscape were considered as one composition, creating a house that feels connected to the place around it rather than imposed upon it.

Some details are immediately visible. Others reveal themselves only with time.
